Crew Member - Angela

I have been in the travel industry for 30 years, working firstly for TUI for 27 years, and latterly, 3 years with the Cruise Room based in our Hoylake store. Jonathan and I have worked together for many, many, years (Too many to mention!)

I was his Assistant Manager in the Heswall branch of Tui, after which I managed several of their stores over a period of 12 years, before handing the reigns to others and became as Assistant again. I came out of retirement to join the crew and give the guys some support. I am loving being part of a great crew!

My first cruise was a Carribean Cruise with Princess cruise line, and the ship was the Dawn Princess. After this initial cruise, it was obvious to me that this is the only way to holiday and I was hooked! We do warn first time cruisers of this - new destinations every day, and only unpack your suitcase once, fabulous entertainment with Broadway worthy shows and of course a fantastic array of choices for dining.

Favourite Cruise Line

I’ve been fortunate to see and try many but it’s still Celebrity Cruises and specifically Eclipse for me as this ship has seen many of my families' special moments! Though a special mention for Regent Seven Seas – the experience was exceptional and really stands out in my mind.

Favourite Destination

Kotor in Montenegro, such a beautiful place - full of character with stunning backdrop. Secondly - I would say Aruba- Flamingo Private Island is stunning with a speed boat crossing to get you there, fabulous!

Favourite Cruise Memory

My Dad celebrated his 90th birthday on board the Celebrity Eclipse and it was such a joy to see his face when we were all together, the crew on board ship treated him like royalty, he still talks about it now!
