I fell in love with cruising back in 2018 when a family member convinced me to give it a try. I guess I may have been one of those who believed some of the misconceptions, so I wasn’t convinced that cruising was for me and was a little reluctant.

I loved it immediately and remain adamant ever since that it’s the best way to travel. Only unpacking once, getting to visit so many places in the one trip, plus all the food and entertainment on the ship as well. What’s not to love?!

My career in travel has only just started as I moved to The Cruise Room from the Post Office in 2023. I love that every day is different and there’s so much more to discover – every day is a school day! I’ve already been fortunate enough to attend the CLIA River conference in Amsterdam, enjoy a 5 night sailing with Fred. Olsen out of Liverpool, spend an evening onboard Cunard Queen Mary 2 along with several other experiences.

Favourite Cruise Line

Favourite cruise line - Cunard, there’s just something special about it! I love the history behind the brand and the timeless cruise feel. However I also hugely enjoyed cruising out of Liverpool on Fred. Olsen; the smaller ship was perfect, the food was excellent, especially for someone on a Gluten Free diet and the service onboard was wonderfully friendly.

Favourite Destination

For me this is an easy one – Olden in the Norwegian Fjords was stunning. The scenery was just beautiful and the surroundings so peaceful. I’ve not been able to replicate that feeling anywhere else... yet!

Favourite Cruise Memory - Having afternoon tea with my Mum on Queen Victoria on Mother’s Day is a special memory that will always stay with me.
