After having a career in the holiday parks in the UK from the age of 18yrs old, I wanted to do something a little bigger, I yearned for something more! A few friends suggested cruise ships, so I thought why not! So in 2010 I started an amazing career as an Entertainment Officer with P&O Cruises and grew to love it! Travelling the world and waking up somewhere new every day was exciting and I knew.. Cruising is for me!

When I decided to drop anchor with my partner in Belfast in 2014, I knew I wanted to share everything I loved about cruising. So in 2016 I made this happen! First starting with Thomas Cook then Hays Travel as 'Cruise Champion' within my stores and I also spent time with ROL cruise as a cruise specialist.

When I saw this amazing opportunity come up at The Cruise Room, I couldn't let this pass me! I cannot wait to tunnel into my passion, my love of cruising and cruise ships even more and I'm excited to talk all things cruise!

Favourite Cruise Line

Although P&O Cruises holds a very special place in my heart, I am more of a destination kind of cruiser. I have been lucky enough to have sailed on P&O Cruises all over the world when I worked on board. For me though it's the exploration that thrills me so when I went on Hurtigruten getting into all those small ports in Norway and a River Nile cruise with TUI to experience the ancient Egyptian history I was in my element. I do love the Western Mediterranean which I have enjoyed on NCL Escape (Tip - their Free at Sea package is a must!)

Favourite Destination

It's so hard to choose my favourite destination. So, I'll give you 2! In Europe, I love to visit Dubrovnik with its walled city, and as a big fan of Game of Thrones, I loved getting to see the filming sites. When I was there, I also went to a 'hole in the wall' where you can go cliff jumping!! Worldwide, I would have to choose Bora Bora! Never in my life have I experienced such clear water with the most beautiful sand and sea life, it certainly was a pinch me moment! I thought I was in a postcard!

Favourite Cruise Memory

Whilst working on P&O Cruises as an entertainment officer, I met my husband. We were so lucky to link our contracts and travel the world together, including the Caribbean, USA, Europe and even a cheeky World Cruise on Arcadia! So many memories we can both look back on and say.. we've been there! As well as a MASSIVE magnet collection!!
