We are pleased to announce our next 'Cruise Line Of The Month' is the wonderful Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. We have an incredibly close relationship with Fred. Olsen and in 2025 they were one of our most popular cruise lines with guests.
We have enjoyed hosting two Group Cruises with guests onboard Fred. Olsen in 2024 & 2025 and due to the success of these we will continue in 2026 & beyond. Fred. Olsen can also helped us host our largest event yet in 2025 when over 50 of you attended a presentation with prosecco followed by a high tea which was a huge success!

Exciting Developments You Need To Know!
All New Inclusions In 2026
It is incredibly exciting to share that Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will include even more in your cruise from January 2026 when you book on a Freedom Fare.
All guests will be able to enjoy select beers, wines and soft drinks at lunch and dinner at no extra cost. Guests will also see that gratuities are being absorbed into the existing cruise fare so no further gratuities will be charged onboard. With free shuttle services in selected ports and guided social strolls in select destinations also included it’s clear that Fred. Olsen have never offered better value than they do in 2026!
All New Dining Options
In 2026 Fred. Olsen will revamp their speciality dining offering and this will see Vasco leave the fleet. However, Colours & Tastes will undergo some changes and you will now experience a rotating menu where you can enjoy Asian Fusion, Italian and Gourmet Grill themes.
Don’t forget these experiences are just £15pp when booked pre-cruise and having experienced these for ourselves, they are well worth it. If you would like something even more special then an all new Chefs Table experience will become available in 2026 with multiple courses all paired with premium wines selected by the onboard Sommelier.
This intimate event will start at £100pp and can be booked onboard! Oh and if you’re cruising on Borealis in 2026 look out for the all new (included) Fresco dining space at the aft of the ship!
Fly-Cruise Programme On Balmoral
Did you know that Fred. Olsen offer a fly-cruise programme? Most cruisers will be aware that Fred. Olsen offer great itineraries departing from local ports but many will not be aware that in 2025 Fred. Olsen started offering a fly-cruise programme on smallest ship Balmoral with special charter flights from Manchester and London.
This mini season returns in 2026 with itineraries ranging from 8 to 63 nights! Your transfers are also included, there’s a Fred. Olsen representative at the airport and once on your transfer, your luggage will go straight to your stateroom so it really couldn’t be easier. These stunning port rich itineraries allow you to go further, deeper and get even more immersed in your destination than ever before.

Amongst everything that Fred. Olsen offers they have 2 policies that really stand out for us and we really wish other cruise lines would take the same approach!
The first is a Price Promise that Fred. Olsen implement at every new season launch. If you book a new sailing within 4 weeks of launch Fred. Olsen will include their Price Promise which means that should the price point subsequently go down then Fred. Olsen will automatically offer you an upgrade or onboard credit to compensate! This makes booking early the best time to book!
Furthermore if you decide to try Fred. Olsen for the 1st time and within 48 hours of boarding you feel it’s not right for you, Fred. Olsen will fly you home from the next available port at their expense and your cruise fare will be refunded in full! That shows a real confidence in what they offer…and gives you the confidence to try your 1st Fred. Olsen cruise!
The Cruise Room Exclusives
Due to our relationship with Fred. Olsen we are delighted to offer a number of exclusives for our guests which we are continually adding to so talk to us to see what we can do! As it stands we have exclusive onboard credit for our guests on no less than 15 sailings across 2026 with some sailings in 2027 set to be added shortly!
Furthermore we offer an annual escorted group cruise onboard Fred. Olsen from Liverpool. In 2026 we will be embarking on Bolette in Liverpool on the 25th July 2026 for 5 nights to Dorset & Honfleur!
